Q: Can I order online?

A: Yes, there is a Shopping Cart on our website.  Just click the "Add to Cart" button for any items you would like to order and a new 'shopping cart' window will open.  You can view the contents of your shopping cart at any time by clicking on the "View Cart" button at the bottom of the page or in the left hand side column.  Once you have finished shopping, choose the appropriate Shipping Option from the drop down list in the Shopping Cart window and then click on the "Checkout" button.  You will then be taken to PayMate's secure website where you can make your credit card (VISA or Mastercard) payment safely. 

Q: Can I pay online using my credit card?

A: Yes, we have linked up with PayMate.  If you have a VISA or MASTERCARD credit card you can make a secure online payment from the Shopping Cart window.  Once you have finished shopping choose the appropriate Shipping Option from the drop down list in the Shopping Cart window and then click on the "Checkout" button.  You will then be taken to PayMate's secure website where you can make your credit card payment safely. 

PayMate has an “https” website which means that all the security encryption protocols are in place for you to make a secure payment on their website without having to worry about your credit card details going astray or being open to fraud.  In fact we never see your credit card details at all.  It takes about 1-2 working days after you’ve made your payment for the confirmation email to come through to us from PayMate.  As soon as we receive this email from PayMate, we put your order into the post.  

Q: What if I don’t live in New Zealand?  Can I pay online using my credit card?

Yes, if you have a VISA or MasterCard credit card you can also use our Shopping Cart facility and shop happily!  Please be careful to choose the appropriate shipping option in the drop down list on the Shopping Cart window. Also, please note that our prices are in New Zealand dollars and on PayMate's secure website your credit card will be charged in New Zealand dollars.  If you would like an estimate of what your order will amount to in your own currency then this link to a Universal Currency Converter website is very handy.

Q: Can I pay using internet banking?

A: Yes certainly if you live in New Zealand.  Please go to our "How to Order"
page where you will find detailed instructions to make this payment option much easier.

Q: What about a personal cheque?  Can I send you a cheque?

A: We regret to advise that for a number of reasons we no longer accept payment by cheque.

Q: Something went wrong ….I don’t know if you got my order or not?

A: If you think something went wrong when you submitted your order, please email us and explain what happened and also what you were trying to order.

There have been a few times when we've received an order without an email address, name or any contact details……..!!!  When this happens, we are unable to make contact with you at all.  If you think this might have happened when you placed your order, then the best thing to do is to email us and tell us what you’d like to order.

Q: I think my order has come through to you twice….and I only meant to place the order once!

A: First of all - don’t worry!!  This something we look out for and if we think this might have happened we will email you and await your reply before we pack and post your order.

Q: Do I need to live in New Zealand to join the “NZ Lefty Club”?

A: No, and you don’t even have to be left-handed!  But someone who is close to your heart should be left-handed; for example, your husband, or your Mum or your child, your children or at least one grandchild should be left-handed.

A: Please email your question to us.  We will reply to your email (usually within 24 hours if not sooner) and if it is a question that others might ask frequently, we’ll include it on this page.
